The fifth edition of The Meaningful Business 100 Award Programme 2023, which honors CEOs around the world who combine profit and purpose to advance the UN Global Goals, is now accepting nominations. The MB100, a group of corporate CEOs, sustainability leaders, impact investors, business owners, and micro-entrepreneurs, recognizes excellent work being done to address the most urgent social and environmental problems we are currently facing, regardless of geography, industry, role, or company size.
The Meaningful Business 100 Award Programme 2023
In order to help winners promote their work and broaden their beneficial impact, the year-long award program includes storytelling, networking, workshops, coaching, and free services from Meaningful Business partners.
Eligibility
Each leader must have:
- Impacted one or more SDGs in a positive, direct, and planned manner throughout the past year.
- Been the inspiration for the initiative, service, or product that blends profit with purpose.
Judging Standards
- The initiative, service, or product’s originality of concept.
- The duration of the project, service, or product.
- How well-suited is the product to making an impact on several SDGs at once?
- Localization: Does the good or service give regional communities more power over their own lives?
- Scalability of the project or service—can it be duplicated?
- Is representation of minority groups a priority when it comes to inclusion?
- Has the leader encouraged collaboration among stakeholders and made the best use of each group’s key competencies?
- What kind of investment was necessary to purchase the good or service? (Low cost, high impact goods and services will be encouraged.)
- Technology and innovation are used to power the project, product, or service
- Is the boss a role model for and a supporter of meaningful business outside of their own organization?
