METI is a fully financed internship program in Japan for international students. Each year, 200 people from these countries apply for the METI internship program. For this internship, you do not need to upload your IELTS results. Additionally, there are no application fees. This Japanese internship is completely financed.

A variety of Japanese companies will host interns. The internship will start both in the summer and the winter. Therefore, METI Internship will be made available in two cohorts. The internship program is two months long in total. Any academic field may submit an application. Your travel expenses, meals, housing, and honorarium will all be covered. Financial Benefits of METI Internship
METI is an internship program supported by the Government of Japan. All costs, including the following, will be covered:
- You will receive electronic devices such as laptops, communication devices, and mobile phones.
- You will receive Travel Support to Travel to Japan.
- Insurance Coverage during the internship.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a citizen of one of the following nations to apply for the METI Internship: These countries.
- You must be proficient in English.
- You must be at least 20 years old and not more than 40 years old.
- If you are a student, you must be able to provide documentation of your academic status.
- A letter of recommendation from their academic advisor for students in college or graduate school
- For Graduates: a graduation certificate from a university or graduate school
Application Deadline
There are two cohorts for the METI internship. Winter and summer internships are both available.
