Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program 2023/2024 for Teachers
The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program brings international secondary-level educators to the United States for a six-week professional learning program featuring academic seminars at a host university. Participants take part in academic seminars, observe and co-teach in U.S. classrooms, and collaborate on best educational practices with educators and students at the host university and at local secondary schools. Participants will attend academic seminars at a host university that focus on topics such as new teaching methodologies, student-centered learning, instructional technology, and content-based instruction.

The Requirements
- Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, and demonstrate English language proficiency.
- Applicants must have the ability to travel to the United States for six weeks.
- Current secondary-level (middle and high school), full-time teachers of English, English as a
Foreign Language (EFL), math, science, foreign language or social studies including special
education teachers in those subjects, at institutions serving primarily a local population - Minimum of three years of full-time teaching experience by the start of program, with a
preference for those who have completed at least five years of full-time teaching - Citizen and resident of an eligible country
- Other requirements as indicated in the application
