Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our real estate company’s finance team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and providing financial reports to management.
- The accountant will ensure that the company’s financial practices comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company’s real estate transactions, including leases, rentals, and property sales
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for real estate operations
- Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards for real estate transactions
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable for real estate transactions
- Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for improvement
- Assist with financial audits related to real estate operations as needed
- Provide financial advice and guidance related to real estate transactions to management
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a real estate company
- Experience with financial reporting, analysis, and audit preparation for real estate transactions
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices for real estate transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in financial records
Other Requirements:
- Must have a professional appearance and demeanor

Remuneration

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner

- Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders
